Scarborough Library is situated in the town centre,
within easy walking distance of all local amenities.
The Victorian exterior of the building has been
preserved, whilst the interior is modern, bright and user
friendly. The Library is home to an impressive IT suite
containing 35 Internet ready PC’s which are also equipped
with Microsoft applications.
The two rooms for hire are on the first floor and are linked
by a foyer, which is also available. The Concert Hall
provides mainly fixed seating for 220 people and also
has a stage. The small Lecture Room can seat
approximately 50 people, black out blinds are
installed, which makes this room ideal for
presentations. Both rooms open out on to the
foyer. Stairs and a lift provide access to the first
floor. The whole venue has recently been
extensively refurbished.
